The Brant Community Healthcare System (BCHS) Foundation is grateful to Healthcare and Municipal Employees’ Credit Union (HMECU) for a generous donation of $10,000 to support the Emergency Department redevelopment at the Brantford General.

HMECU plans to continue to support the BCHS Foundation with an investment of $67,000 over the coming years bringing their total cumulative giving to $100,000.

“At HMECU, we are so proud to be a part of this incredible project, and are honoured to be able to contribute to the future of healthcare in the Brant Community. We are excited to be able to help the BCHS Foundation reach its goal and make a difference in the lives of the members of our community. As we strive to serve our members with excellence, it is truly rewarding when we get to support a cause like this that will have such a positive impact on our community”, said HMECU President and CEO Jason Moran.

“We are so grateful to Healthcare and Municipal Employees’ Credit Union for their commitment as we work together to re-imagine healthcare in our community”, says Heather Wilson, Chair, BCHS Foundation. “Once redeveloped the emergency department will nearly double in size which is critical to meet the needs of our growing community today and into the future.”
