Employees, business owners and guests of Ontario Electrical League – Tri-County Chapter and Combined Metal Industries Inc. enjoyed a nine holes of golf at Fescue’s Edge Golf Club on Friday, June 14 at the 7th Annual OEL Charity Golf Tournament. Funds raised from the event will benefit the BCHS Foundation.

OEL Charity Golf Tournament brings golfers out in force for good cause

Thank you to the 2019 Tri-County Ontario Electrical League (OEL) Charity Golf Tournament organizers, and over 70 participants and supporters who showed up in force on June 14 to support local healthcare and the Brant Community Healthcare System (BCHS) Foundation.

2019 is the seventh year for this annual 9-hole golfing event at Fescue’s Edge Golf Club in Scotland featuring members of the Tri-County Ontario Electrical League (OEL) and Combined Metal Industries Inc. (CMI) with donations being directed to the BCHS Foundation.

OEL and CMI have partnered with the BCHS Foundation to forge the Weigh Your Scrap and Give Back program that donates money directly to local healthcare with funds raised from a scrap metal Weigh and Pay program that offers a pick-up service combined with competitive program pricing for all types of scrap metal.

The Weigh Your Scrap and Give Back program helps the BCHS Foundation to purchase patient equipment not funded by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care, provide essential resources to maintain the exceptional level of compassionate patient care, and invest in new and innovative technology.
