Terrace Hill Pharmacy donates $3,500 to the BCHS Foundation

Terrace Hill Pharmacy owners and staff presented a cheque for $3,500 to the Brant Community Healthcare System Foundation on Thursday, June 15 representing funds raised during their recent month-long charity promotion.

To celebrate 16 years servicing the Brantford community, Terrace Hill Pharmacy embarked on a campaign of giving back to local healthcare in the month of May. Customers were encouraged to make a donation of $1 or more for a commemorative paper pill box to hang in the store in support of the General Equipment fund at the BCHS.

The campaign, entitled Taking Care of You, culminated in a charity barbeque on May 31 outside their storefront located across from the Brantford General entrance at 217 Terrace Hill Street catered by Strodes BBQ & Deli.

With each donation, customers were entered into a prize draw to win an Asus Zenpad with the lucky winner drawn at random at 9 p.m. after the special celebratory barbeque event concluded.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to the owners, staff and all of the customers of Terrace Hill Pharmacy who helped make this event such an astounding success! Your dedication to fundraising for the Brant Community Healthcare System will positively impact the wellbeing of so many people in the surrounding community. You should all be proud of your accomplishment!
