What does my donation support?
The Brant Community Healthcare System (BCHS) Foundation is committed to supporting Women’s Health in our community. Women use the healthcare system more often because they tend to live longer, have specific reproductive health needs, and experience higher occurrences of chronic disease. Women also interact with the healthcare system more regularly throughout their lives not only for themselves, but often as advocates on behalf of loved ones which makes it especially important to make sure their care is supportive and easy to access. Focusing on women’s health matters—because their well-being matters.
It is through the generosity of our many wonderful donors like you that the BCHS Foundation has been able to help fund the purchase of critical pieces of equipment to support our healthcare system. The equipment supported by donor dollars isn’t ‘nice to have’ – it is essential, much-needed equipment required to perform daily medical diagnostics and care for our patients. Funding for this equipment is not provided by the Ministry of Health funding model, but rather from generous corporations, foundations and individuals who are committed to keeping our healthcare system strong.
