#ThankfulThursday gives the Brant Community Healthcare System Foundation a regular opportunity to recognize and thank the important individuals, businesses and organizations in our community that help to make a difference to the quality and effectiveness of our local healthcare system.

This week’s Thankful Thursday features:

Funding Innovation makes $16,012 donation to local healthcare

Thank you to the staff and owners of Funding Innovation, for their continued partnership with the Brant Community Healthcare System (BCHS) Foundation, and their support of local healthcare for the patients and families of Brantford, Brant and the surrounding communities.

On Feb 19, Kathy Cooper, Manager of Business Development for Funding Innovation presented BCHS Foundation Executive Director, Kari Wilson with a donation of $16,012.55 representing proceeds from their Easel Program in 2018.

The Funding Innovation Easel Program showcases a variety of art pieces including photos of sports and music collections. Their program is designed to raise funds in support of charitable organizations and the Brant Community Healthcare System (BCHS) Foundation is fortunate to be a recipient.

Every two weeks a piece of art is displayed and secured to an easel in a host location. Visitors are invited to fill out a bid slip and deposit it in the box secured to the easel. Each piece of art begins with a minimum bid of $200. The BCHS Foundation receives a minimum of 65% net proceeds for each piece of art sold.

Currently, easels are on display at the Brantford General in Ambulatory Care located in the D-Wing, Main level and outside the BCHS Foundation office in A-Wing near the elevators. Locations throughout the Brantford community do change, so please watch for displays for an opportunity to support the BCHS Foundation.

Successful bidders are contacted by a Funding Innovation area manager and the customer will be notified to make arrangements for payment and delivery. To learn more about Funding Innovation, please visit: www.fundinginnovation.ca

The BCHS Foundation is truly thankful for our partnership with Funding Innovation as we recognize them as our Thankful Thursday celebration recipient for the week of Feb. 28, 2019.

If you would like to learn more about how you can set up an easel at your business in support of the BCHS Foundation, please contact the BCHS Foundation office at 519-751-5510 or email foundation@bchsys.org.
