OEL and CMI celebrate results of charitable giving

THANK YOU to all of the participants in the Ontario Electrical League (OEL) Breakfast on March 4.

Regional OEL Tri-County Chapter and Combined Metal Industries members met in the A2 Chapel at the Brantford General to enjoy an early morning breakfast and learn about the positive results of their charitable giving, as caregivers from BCHS Diagnostic Imaging unveiled a new Portable Ultrasound and two probes, purchased with proceeds from OEL and CMI’s Weigh Your Scrap and Give Back program.

Since its inception, Weigh Your Scrap and Give Back has raised over $46,400 for local healthcare at the Brant Community Healthcare System, and has helped to purchase a Video Glidescope used in the OR, Resection Sets used in the OR and Urology, and today’s newly unveiled Portable Ultrasound with probes used throughout the hospital in a wide variety of applications.

Together, we are transforming healthcare in our community!

A special thank-you to Combined Metal Industries (CMI) for sponsoring the OEL Breakfast event, and Savory Electric, Tim Hortons at the Brantford General, and Gilbert-McEachern Electric Limited for providing refreshments and table prizes.
